About the Role
Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Slovakia, a leading provider of innovative information and communication technology services, is seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join their team. This role is responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines and Infrastructure as Code approaches.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and implement infrastructure for CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Manage source code, configuration management, release management, build, and deployment activities.
- Set up and manage integration with partner applications.
- Conduct performance analyses, tunings, error analyses, and troubleshooting.
- Consult and implement new innovative technologies to satisfy the company’s innovation strategy.
- Create concepts for further automation of services, processes, and/or operating models.
- Directly support project teams in development, quality assurance, and planning and implementation of product releases.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Information Technologies or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in ICT systems.
- Advanced experience with scripting (Bash, Python).
- Advanced experience with Linux operating systems.
- Intermediate experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or OTC).
- Advanced experience with Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
- Advanced experience with Git and intermediate experience with Jenkins/GitLab.
- Basic experience with build tools like Maven or Gradle.
- Intermediate experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet.
- Intermediate experience with monitoring tools like ELK, Prometheus, Icinga, Jaeger, and Grafana.
- Advanced experience with networking and intermediate experience with security.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, analytical thinking, training, and presentation skills.
- Upper-intermediate English proficiency (B2).
- Experience with Agile methodologies, Scrum, and SAFe.
