About the Role
Avanti, a leading B2B SaaS company, is seeking an experienced CTO/Software Engineering Manager to lead their distributed engineering team of around 15 professionals. This role involves shaping the technical direction, improving delivery, and driving AI adoption across the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a distributed team of software engineers, ensuring efficient delivery and high-quality output.
- Collaborate closely with the Product team and senior stakeholders to modernize the platform and drive technological improvements.
- Oversee the implementation of AI and machine learning technologies across the software development process.
- Identify and address technical bottlenecks, optimizing processes and improving overall development efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and implement innovative solutions to enhance the company’s offerings.
- Contribute to the strategic planning and decision-making process, aligning the technical roadmap with the company’s business objectives.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and excellence within the engineering team.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in a senior software engineering or technical leadership role, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment.
- Proven track record of managing and leading distributed engineering teams, with strong people management and mentoring skills.
- Proficiency in modern software development practices, including Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and cloud-based architectures.
- Expertise in implementing and scaling AI and machine learning solutions within a software development context.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address complex technical challenges.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to bridge the gap between technical and business requirements.
