About the Role
This role involves focusing on low-power, reliable hardware designs with strong EMI/EMC practices, from concept through to production and field support. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with firmware, QA, and delivery teams to ensure the seamless integration of hardware and software components.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop rugged embedded electronic hardware for IoT edge systems
- Ensure low-power, reliable designs with strong EMI/EMC practices
- Collaborate with firmware, QA, and delivery teams to integrate hardware and software
- Provide support from concept through to production and field deployment
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware-related issues
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical guidance to the team
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the industry
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Extensive experience in designing and developing embedded electronic hardware
- Strong understanding of low-power design techniques and EMI/EMC practices
- Proficiency in schematic capture, PCB design, and simulation tools
- Hands-on experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and sensors
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
