About the Role
Franklin Bates, a leading cloud-based telematics platform provider, is seeking an experienced IT Manager to oversee the reliability and security of their large-scale systems. This critical role will involve troubleshooting complex issues across Azure, Cloudflare, and device connectivity, serving as a technical liaison between engineering and customer success teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the reliable and secure operation of the company’s cloud-based telematics platform
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the Azure, Cloudflare, and device connectivity infrastructure
- Act as a technical bridge between the engineering and customer success teams, translating technical requirements and providing guidance
- Proactively monitor system performance, identify potential problems, and implement preventative measures
- Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize infrastructure, improve scalability, and enhance security
- Document processes, procedures, and technical solutions to knowledge-share with the wider team
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, trends, and best practices in cloud infrastructure management
Requirements
- Extensive experience (5+ years) in IT infrastructure management, preferably in a cloud-based environment
- Strong technical expertise in Azure, Cloudflare, and device connectivity technologies
- Proven track record of troubleshooting complex issues and implementing effective solutions
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Proficient in project management, process documentation, and knowledge sharing
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, such as Terraform, Ansible, or Kubernetes
