About the Role
Matrikon, a Honeywell company, is seeking an experienced Senior Tech Support Professional to provide advanced technical support for their industrial data connectivity products, including OPC Classic and OPC UA solutions, in OT/IT integration environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot complex customer issues related to Matrikon’s industrial data connectivity products
- Analyze system logs and configurations to identify and resolve problems
- Collaborate with the engineering team to reproduce and address technical challenges
- Document and communicate technical solutions to customers
- Provide training and guidance to customers on the proper use and configuration of Matrikon’s products
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the company’s solutions remain competitive
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Matrikon’s support processes and documentation
Requirements
- Extensive experience (5+ years) in providing technical support for industrial data connectivity solutions, preferably in an OT/IT integration environment
- Proficient understanding of OPC Classic and OPC UA protocols, as well as their implementation and troubleshooting
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve complex technical issues
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with customers and the engineering team
- Familiarity with industrial automation systems, SCADA, and related technologies
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality support
