About the Role
AE Partners, a leading IT training provider in Blyth, Northumberland, is seeking an experienced IT Support Manager to oversee their digital infrastructure and support their staff and learners. This critical role involves managing and securing the company’s IT systems, including Microsoft 365, Accessplanit, and AI-powered tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security
- Provide hands-on technical support to staff and learners, troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions
- Lead the integration of various digital systems, including website migration and cloud-based applications
- Oversee the company’s cybersecurity measures, implementing policies and best practices to protect against threats
- Collaborate with the training team to integrate digital tools and technologies into the learning environment
- Analyze system data and generate reports to identify areas for improvement and optimization
- Manage and mentor a team of IT support technicians to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
Requirements
- Extensive experience (5+ years) in an IT support or management role, preferably in an education or training environment
- Strong technical expertise in managing and securing Microsoft 365, cloud-based applications, and IT infrastructure
- Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of IT professionals
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve issues
- Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and experience in implementing security measures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with staff, learners, and external stakeholders
