About the Role
Adria Solutions, a fast-growing and innovative technology organization based in Greater Manchester, is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager (Golang) to lead and develop high-performing Agile engineering teams. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Golang expert to take charge of a talented engineering unit and drive their success.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor a team of Golang developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of complex Golang-based applications and systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to define and execute on technical roadmaps
- Implement Agile methodologies and best practices to ensure efficient and streamlined software delivery
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements and technological advancements
- Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team, helping them overcome challenges and reach their full potential
- Contribute to the overall growth and success of the organization by aligning engineering initiatives with business objectives
Requirements
- Extensive experience (5+ years) in a Golang-focused engineering management role, with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams
- Deep expertise in Golang development, including experience in building and deploying complex, scalable systems
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience in implementing them effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with a focus on driving continuous improvement
- Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure and deployment strategies, such as containerization and DevOps practices
