About the Role
This role positions candidates as a Full Stack Developer within a rapidly expanding startup based in the Philippines, focusing on both front-end and back-end development to drive project success. The position involves building and maintaining web applications using Microsoft technologies hosted on AWS, all in a work-from-home (WFH) setup that emphasizes flexibility and collaboration. Developers in this capacity contribute to an Agile environment, ensuring high-quality, scalable solutions that meet business needs while leveraging modern tools like .NET and React.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain full-stack web applications using Microsoft technologies, with backend hosted on AWS, to support the startup’s growth initiatives.
- Participate in daily scrum meetings within an Agile team to collaborate with cross-functional members, identify challenges, and promote best development practices.
- Build software applications utilizing .NET C# for backend and React with TypeScript for front-end, ensuring seamless integration and user-friendly interfaces.
- Work closely with the CTO, product owner, business analysts, and fellow developers to align software deliverables with specified requirements.
- Deliver reusable, high-quality code emphasizing service reliability, monitoring, and cloud-native design principles.
- Apply current technical best practices, including writing clean, testable code and engaging in pair programming to enhance team efficiency.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines and incorporate tools like Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly AWS CDK, to streamline deployment processes.
Requirements
- At least 3 to 4 years of proven experience in full-stack development, with a strong emphasis on modern web technologies.
- Extensive front-end development background using React, Redux, and TypeScript to create dynamic, responsive user interfaces.
- Solid proficiency in .NET Core (versions 6 or 8), C# programming, ASP.NET Core, SQL, Web API, and AWS services.
- Hands-on experience with ReactJS workflows, including Redux, Create React App, and related libraries for efficient development.
- Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies, along with managing CI/CD pipelines and containerization using Docker.
- Excellent English communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration with international team members and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with IaC tools like AWS CDK is highly valued, along with a commitment to clean code and best practices.
