About the Role
Asset Resourcing, a leading cloud infrastructure services provider, is seeking a talented Head of Cloud Infrastructure to spearhead their Azure migration and platform engineering efforts. This pivotal role will involve designing and executing a comprehensive transition from the company’s legacy private cloud to a modern Azure-first architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of the Azure migration, ensuring a seamless transition from the existing private cloud infrastructure.
- Oversee the development and management of cloud infrastructure, security, and integration platforms to support the company’s growing platform engineering function.
- Serve as a hands-on technical leader, collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Establish and maintain robust cloud security protocols, safeguarding the company’s critical data and assets.
- Drive the adoption of best practices and innovative cloud solutions to enhance the overall efficiency and resilience of the infrastructure.
- Mentor and guide the platform engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align cloud strategy with the company’s broader business objectives.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in leading large-scale cloud infrastructure projects, preferably with a focus on Azure.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing secure, scalable, and highly available cloud architectures.
- Proficiency in cloud security best practices, including identity and access management, data protection, and compliance.
- Strong technical expertise in cloud-native technologies, containerization, and automation tools.
