The Product Analyst position at Magnetics focuses on leveraging data to drive product decisions in a dynamic digital environment. This role involves analyzing product metrics and payment funnels to support business growth, working closely with cross-functional teams in product, marketing, and retention. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze essential product and payment funnel metrics to ensure optimal performance.
- Segment users, including high-value customers, to derive targeted insights for retention and growth.
- Detect anomalies in key performance indicators (KPIs) and investigate root causes to prevent issues.
- Develop data-driven hypotheses and identify opportunities for product enhancement and scaling.
- Assist in enhancing the business intelligence infrastructure, including database management and Tableau dashboard creation.
- Support business planning and financial modeling by providing analytical recommendations.
- Present findings clearly to diverse stakeholders, from technical teams to executives, fostering informed decision-making.
Requirements
- At least three years of experience in data analytics, with a strong emphasis on product metrics and user experience.
- Proficiency in SQL, particularly with PostgreSQL, alongside advanced skills in Google Sheets and Excel for data manipulation.
- Solid understanding of statistics and probability to underpin analytical work.
- Strong abilities in data visualization, ideally using Tableau, to communicate complex information effectively.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in areas like product development, payments, marketing, and retention.
- Excellent analytical mindset, self-organization, attention to detail, and intermediate English proficiency for reading technical documentation.
