About the Role
Join Ivy Tech as a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer and contribute to cutting-edge platforms in the life sciences and healthcare data sectors. In this 3-month contract role, you’ll collaborate with a top 20 global pharmaceutical company to build and enhance trusted data solutions for healthcare professionals, clinical research, and scientific information. Ideal for a hands-on engineer passionate about regulated environments, this position offers the chance to blend backend and frontend expertise while engaging directly with stakeholders across Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications leveraging .NET and Vue.js technologies to support healthcare data platforms.
- Build and integrate robust APIs and data services for seamless JSON-based data handling in life sciences and pharmaceutical ecosystems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, product managers, and client stakeholders, to deliver scalable solutions.
- Translate complex requirements for healthcare professionals (HCP) data, clinical trials, and research information into technical architectures.
- Participate in architecture discussions, technical decision-making, and Agile processes to ensure high-quality development outcomes.
- Ensure all solutions adhere to stringent security, compliance, and data governance standards in regulated pharma and healthcare settings.
- Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Serve as a technical liaison, fostering strong client relationships in consulting-style engagements.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Senior-level full-stack development experience, with 7+ years in .NET/.NET Core for backend and Vue.js for frontend.
- Proven expertise in JSON APIs, data integrations, and working with complex healthcare data models for HCPs, clinical, and research information.
- Mandatory background in life sciences, pharmaceutical, or healthcare data environments, including regulated compliance frameworks.
- Strong software architecture skills for building scalable applications in Agile teams.
- Comfortable in client-facing roles, with excellent collaboration and communication abilities.
- Experience with European pharma or life sciences organizations is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure and healthcare master data systems is a plus.
