What is the passing score for Network+? +
720 out of 900 points. The exam has a maximum of 90 questions and runs 90 minutes.
Does Network+ expire? +
Yes — CompTIA certifications are valid for 3 years. You can renew through continuing education units (CEUs) or by passing a higher-level exam like Security+ or CySA+.
Is Network+ worth it in 2025? +
Yes, particularly for IT generalists and those heading toward Security+. For dedicated networking roles, CCNA carries more weight with employers. For everything else, Network+ is a solid, recognized credential.
How long does Network+ preparation take? +
