Drop a Pin With Google Maps

There are three ways to drop a pin with Google Maps. First, you can drop it from your desktop. To do so, long-press the screen in the location you want to mark. A small screen with an address and coordinates will appear. Tap the site to see more information and to add labels and notes.

Save a location

You can drop a pin to save a location on Google Maps. This feature allows you to reserve places and view them later. You can also share them with other users.
