Drop a Pin

There are three ways to drop a pin with Google Maps. First, you can drop it from your desktop. To do so, long-press the screen in the location you want to mark. A small screen with an address and coordinates will appear. Tap the site to see more information and to add labels and notes.

Save a location

You can drop a pin to save a location on Google Maps. This feature allows you to reserve places and view them later. You can also share them with other users. In addition, you can add a label or business to your saved location. In addition, you can view all your saved locations by visiting the Your Places menu.

To drop a pin, first, open Google Maps on your computer. Click the small grey pin at a point of interest on the map. You can also view additional details about the location by swiping up from the bottom of the screen. To save the site, sign in to your Google Account.

Share a location

The iPhone’s built-in location-sharing feature makes sharing any location with others easy. Zoom in on your site to see exactly where the pin will be, and tap the button that says “Drop a pin.” Click “Share” or “Embed a map” to find the embed code. Then select “Save” to save the pin for later. Once you’ve pinned a location, you can share it through compatible apps, or you can share it using AirDrop.

You can also use the Google Maps application to share your location with friends and family. Once you’ve pinned a place, you can share it on social networks or via a website. You can even share the location on your desktop with a link or HTML code. You can also unpin a pin at any time. All you need to do is tap the nail to remove it. If you don’t want people to share your location, you can permanently delete it.

Once you’ve saved a location, you can share it via email, Facebook, Twitter, or a plus code. It is similar to sending a pinned site but is more convenient to share. You can also share your location through social media by including a link in the message. To send the area to a friend, click “Share” and enter the address of the person you’re sending the message to.

Adjust the location

Send a location
