Surah Yasin is the 36th chapter of the Quran, the holy book of Islam. It holds a special place among Muslims due to its profound messages and significance. The chapter is named after the Arabic word “Yasin,” which appears in the opening verse. Surah Yasin is considered one of the Mecca surahs, meaning it was revealed during the early period of Prophet Muhammad’s (peace be upon him) prophethood while he was in the city of Makkah.
