Requirements

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, with majors in Construction or Project Management.
• A proven track record of 14-16 years in the Construction Industry, with experience in working on high-rise buildings.
• Preference will be given to candidates with international experience.
• Proficiency in the English language.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Well versed with construction and project management software.

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to determine the project specifications.
• Preparing and negotiating contracts with external vendors and suppliers to reach profitable agreements.
• Obtaining all necessary permits and licenses from relevant authorities.
• Coordinating with consultants and obtaining approvals for all project-related drawings.
• Determining the required resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to finish, while taking into account budgetary limitations.
• Planning all construction operations and scheduling intermediate phases to ensure deadlines are met.
• Acquiring equipment and materials and monitoring stocks to handle inadequacies in a timely manner as per the project baseline planning.
• Hiring contractors or other staff and allocating responsibilities after management approval.
• Supervising the work of laborers, mechanics, and other workers, and providing guidance when needed.
• Evaluating progress regularly and preparing detailed weekly or monthly reports.
• Ensuring adherence to all health and safety standards and reporting any issues that arise.
